Use case

Build internal tools with AI

From “we need a tool for that” to a deployed app — in minutes.

Every team accumulates spreadsheets and manual workflows that should be a proper app — but never reach the top of an engineering backlog. With Logen you describe the tool in plain English and get a real, working web app with its own database, deployed on a URL your team can use straight away.

Describe it, don't spec it

Tell Logen what the tool should do — “an approvals queue for expense requests with roles for staff and managers” — and it generates the screens, the data model, and the logic. You refine it in the same chat: add a field, change a rule, tweak the layout.

Because Logen writes a full Phoenix application (not a throwaway prototype), the tool holds real data, enforces real permissions, and behaves like software you'd build by hand.

Real backend, not just a front-end

Each app ships with its own dedicated PostgreSQL database and runs in an isolated container — so your internal data stays separated and persistent. No wiring up a backend yourself, no choosing a host.

Live for your team, securely

Publish to a private URL, add your own custom domain, and keep it always-on. Sensitive values are encrypted, traffic is over HTTPS, and enterprise teams can add SSO so the right people get access.

Database included

A dedicated Postgres database per app — your data persists and is isolated from other tenants.

Roles & access

Describe who can see and do what; Logen builds the permission logic in.

Deployed, not downloaded

Get a live URL, not a zip of code you have to host. Custom domains supported.

Iterate in chat

Add features or fix issues by describing the change — each iteration updates the app in place.

Frequently asked

Can the tool connect to our existing data?

Each Logen app has its own database. You can model and import the data you need; deeper integrations with external systems are on the roadmap and available to enterprise customers — talk to us about your setup.

Is it secure enough for internal company data?

Apps run in isolated containers with their own database and private network. Data is encrypted in transit, secrets are encrypted at rest, and enterprise plans add SSO and dedicated infrastructure.
