Logen ("Company", "we", "our", "us") operates https://logen.io providing an AI-powered platform dedicated to empowering developers and non-technical users to build, share, and deploy web applications using natural language prompts. Logen does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice.

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Login credentials
  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration)
  • Chat inputs and app configuration data
  • Billing details (processed via third-party payment providers)
  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Device identifiers, browser type, and operating system
  • Behavioural and interaction data collected by analytics tools (see §5)

We do not sell personal data.

2. Purpose of Processing

We process data to:

  • Provide and operate Logen
  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Provide support
  • Improve product performance
  • Ensure security and fraud prevention
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Process Your Personal Data

We process personal data based on:

  • Your consent
  • Performance of a contract
  • Legitimate uses permitted under law

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Industry-standard encryption and access controls are used.
  • Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • While we implement safeguards, no system is 100% secure.

5. Data Sharing

We may share data with:

  • Cloud infrastructure providers
  • AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
  • Payment processors
  • Analytics providers — specifically Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, USA) — which collect page-view, session, and interaction data to help us understand product usage. These tools are active by default in our production environment; you can opt out at any time via Manage preferences in the cookie banner. They are governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Microsoft's Privacy Statement respectively.

All vendors are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations.

6. Cross-Border Transfers

Your data may be transferred outside India, including to the United States, subject to lawful safeguards.

7. Your Rights (Under DPDP Act 2023)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Erase personal data
  • Withdraw consent
  • Nominate a representative

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data for the periods set out below:

  • Account data — retained for the lifetime of your account and deleted within 90 days of account closure, unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Billing records — retained for 7 years from the date of the transaction to comply with Indian tax and accounting obligations.
  • Usage and analytics data — aggregated analytics are retained for up to 26 months by Google Analytics (configurable in our GA property settings). Microsoft Clarity data is retained for up to 13 months.
  • Support communications — retained for 2 years from the last interaction.
  • AI-generated content and chat inputs — retained for the lifetime of the associated app, and deleted within 90 days of app deletion.

10. Enterprise Data Processing

Enterprise customers who process personal data of their own end-users through apps built on Logen may request a Data Processing Addendum (DPA). Contact us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Processing Addendum request".

11. Changes to Policy

We may update this policy. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice within the Service.
